Germany having cleared Alsace in action phase 1 presses her attack against the fort in Belfort.

Outside Pairs, German cavalry begin an encirclement. Only two hexes remain. If the Germans can breakout north Paris the city will be encircled and the whole of the German army will be on the banks of the Marne.

About to roll dice…

The BEF holds with one MPV (step/pip) in the hex that matters most. The German encirclement falls one hex short. The allies win the scenario due to their decisive early advancements.
